This is Anne Rice’s most recent book and a great throw back to the style of writing she had during the Vampire Chronicles. It was a brilliant book overall and very dark. Her writing style is one I’ve alway been fond of though because she throws you right into the environment of the book and you lose yourself in it. Wolf Gift is the first attempt she’s made at writing a werewolf novel and she loses a lot of the stereotypes which are buried so deep into the media today. It’s a very interesting read that I’d suggest to anyone who liked her older works. Page Numbers: 416.
